Even if this is not the first time you have bought or sold property, the transaction is likely to be one of your most important financial transactions ever. Moving home can also be stressful. It is important to choose the right person to act for you.
Our team of conveyancers are experienced specialists and are all legally qualified and have a wealth of experience.
Few people enjoy the uncertainties and pressures which are an unavoidable part of buying and selling property. Things that can cause concern are numerous. They range from how much it will all cost, how will I understand the legal jargon, through all the major and minor practical problems that are put in your way, to finally being sure that you can move into your house on an agreed date and that it is yours when you do so.
In 2011 we became one of the first firms of solicitors in England and Wales to be accredited to the Law Society’s Conveyancing Quality Scheme (CQS) which they said would “.. provide a recognised quality standard for residential conveyancing practices. Achievement of membership will establish a level of credibility for member firms with stakeholders (regulators, lenders, insurers and consumers)”. CQS is external confirmation of the high quality of our service.
We also think that you need more from us than just a completion of legal formalities. Our role as your solicitors is to advise and help with matters both legal and practical. If you have any queries or problems, you should not hesitate to ask for help. We have almost certainly come across the same situation before and we should be able to speedily give you the answer or a solution.
Buying or selling a house should not be dealt with in isolation, and Raworths can also advise on finance, wills, tax, family problems and other matters which concern you.
As our client, you are the most important person in our business. You must always feel that you can contact us and that we are approachable. The person dealing with your matter may not always be able to speak to you whenever you phone or call as s/he is also dealing with other clients’ matters. However, if you ask to speak to his/her secretary, we can arrange for your call to be returned or make an appointment for you to see us. If the matter is urgent you will be put in touch with another conveyancer in our legal team.
Although much work has to be done by us, the majority of this will be invisible to you as it involves our dealing with other people and organisations. We will keep you informed of progress on a regular basis but if at any time you want to know what is happening just call us
We have, over the years, invested in new technology to help us provide the best service possible but in the end, however much help this may be, we are still people providing a service for you.
