Our Corporate & Commercial team is ranked in Chambers UK and the Legal 500 and is amongst the strongest corporate and commercial teams in North Yorkshire. Due to increased levels of M&A activity and other corporate and commercial matters we are advising on, we currently have an exciting opportunity for a Paralegal to join this dynamic team.
The well-established team consists of five Solicitors, a Paralegal and a Legal Secretary. We are looking for candidates who have a genuine interest in Corporate and Commercial work and share our ethos of providing high quality bespoke and tailored legal services to our clients.
You will work alongside experienced colleagues on acquisitions and disposals of companies and their businesses, legal due diligence exercises, corporate group restructurings, equity investments and shareholder agreements, share option schemes and a variety of other corporate and commercial matters as well as supporting the team with legal research and drafting documents.
The successful candidate will ideally have a good understanding of company law and commercial legal principles, and will have the opportunity to develop their existing professional skills with exposure to high quality corporate and commercial work in a collaborative and supportive team environment. A positive outlook and a ‘can do’ attitude will be essential
