Sam deals with all aspects of private client work including wills, tax and succession planning, trust advice and administration of estates. Sam has particular experience advising and dealing with the administration of a multi-million pound grant giving charity.
Sam advises on structures to pass on wealth and businesses in tax efficient and family-appropriate ways, including the use of family investment companies, trusts and LLPs to manage complex assets.
Sam also has experience in dealing with Court of Protection matters including Lasting and Enduring Powers of Attorney and deputyship applications.
Sam is ranked in the current edition of Chambers High Net Worth guide and the team is ranked Band 1 for York, Hull and Surrounds and also National Leaders (outside London) categories.
